Chinese Fluorescent Minerals hunting trip in Xianghualing mine, HuNan province, China in 2007

We visited Xianghualing mine (HuNan province, China) and explored there with our UV lamp, We like the fresh air there. This mine is a world famous mine for crystals specimens also mining.

I collected some bright Eucryptite, scheelite specimens from there.
Eucryptite glow bright red under UV shortwave, scheelite glow bright blue under UV shortwave.


One of rare crystal specimen, many small powellite crystals grow on matrix
